"Gas prices will rapidly come back down. Stock prices will rapidly go back up," Trump predicted.
Trump's speech case as the average price of a gallon of gas across the country topped $4. Iran has said they moved to shut down the Strait of Hormuz in response to U.S. and Israeli attacks. Trump insisted nations should also take action to "grab" it back and to also buy oil from the US.
