The United States and Iran have reached a framework deal to end the Iran war, but it will be at least several days until the text of the agreement is released and a formal signing ceremony takes place.

In a June 14 social media post, President Donald Trump announced that a deal had been reached, indicating it would also reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

During a G7 Summit meeting in Evian-Les-Bains, France, Trump said the deal "should be successful," while speaking with Qatar Emir Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al.
