2:05Now PlayingPresident Donald Trump said on Monday that Iran getting a nuclear weapon "supersedes depression" and he'll do what he has to do if long-term agreement doesn't come together.
"Depression's real bad, nuclear weapon will cause depression, much more quickly," Trump said. "The way we're doing it, we have the opposite of a depression."
The president noted that gas prices had fallen since the U.S. and Iran entered into an interim peace agreement and he does not believe the country will fall into an economic depression. "I don't want to be Herbert Hoover.
But if Iran is not behaving, Trump said, "I will do what I have to do."
