Lindsay Clancy was 'aware' that harming her children 'was wrong' psychiatrist says in testimony

After the lunch recess, the prosecution continued its examination of Dr. Avram Mack. Assistant District Attorney Buckingham asked if Clancy retained the ability to conform her behavior with the law and appreciate the wrongfulness of her acts.

"There were moments she thought about harming the children, she was aware in those moments that that was wrong or against the law and that she could be punished for such an act," Mack said.

Buckingham noted Clancy reported being horrified at Brigham and Women's. "The feeling of shame that comes from being horrified indicates that she was aware that it had been the wrong thing to do," Mack said.
