The Lindsay Clancy murder trial enters its final day of testimony Wednesday Aug. 26 at Plymouth Superior Court.
Closing arguments are expected to be Thursday, Aug. 27 and then the case will go to the jury.
In Tuesday's proceedings, psychiatrist Dr. Gregory Saathoff testified for the prosecution. He has not yet been cross-examined by the defense and is expected to return to the stand Wednesday morning. After his testimony, lawyers will likely discuss jury instructions with Judge William Sullivan.
Clancy, 36, is charged with three counts of first-degree murder related to the strangling deaths of her children Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months. Clancy acknowledges killing the children in January 2023, but claims she was suffering from postpartum psychosis and was not criminally responsible for her acts.
