10:01Now PlayingDonald Trump posthumously awarded 9/11's "man in the red bandana" the Presidential Medal of Freedom Tuesday. Identified as Welles Crowthers, Trump presented the honor to the man's mother at the White House Tuesday.
Crowther helped lead 9/11 victims to safety, before turning around and climbing back into one of the World Trade Center towers as it burned. The 24-year-old equities trader is credited as a hero saved as many as 18 people on his three trips to the 78th floor. He didn't survive the attack.
