as posted by the channelFor this year’s last episode of “MOST VALID REASON”, we flew out to Milwaukee, WI, to feature Volcano Choir - easily one of our favorite bands ever. This melting pot of musicians consist of members from various outside projects, like Justin Vernon from Bon Iver, as well as Chris Rosenau and John Mueller from the now dispersed band, Pele. Even after Pele’s break up, some of the same band members have been able to come out to Japan as Collections of Colonies of Bees, as well as other projects. Eventually, as if it were an excuse to see these guys play again, we got to see Volcano Choir perform in Japan too, thanks to their loyal following of die-hard fans.
Volcano Choir are sometimes described as post-rock, but we don’t like to over-analyze their sound; we just hope you enjoy their tunes as much as we do, and be sure to watch our interview with them backstage.
