9:34Now PlayingIn November 2018, California saw its most destructive and deadliest wildfire to date. The Camp Fire destroyed the town of Paradise in Northern California killing 85 people and destroying over 14,000 homes.
Birgitte Randall was a nurse in Paradise who narrowly escaped the wildfire in 2018, losing her home in the process. After taking a few months to help rehabilitate the area, Birgitte and her husband Lonnie are ready to watch Paradise rebuild.
In this episode of Home Again, we travel to Paradise to meet with the people who are starting anew, rebuilding what’s been lost. We look at the personal stories and hard costs of staying vs. leaving a town post disaster.
