Now, car clubs like the Mpireboyz are using them as a space to legitimize and promote talented drivers and dirt bike riders from NYC. VICE’s cameras follow car clubs and drivers from Queens and Brooklyn as they work to legitimize New York City’s emerging car culture against opposition from the NYPD.
