Μπήκε για πρώτη φορά στο ρινγκ όταν ήταν πέντε χρονών και έχει πάρει την πρώτη θέση σε μεγάλες διοργανώσεις στην Ελλάδα, όπως το FFC (Final Fight Championship). Πλέον δεν μπορεί να βρει αντιπάλους στην κατηγορία της γιατί φοβούνται να την αντιμετωπίσουν. Γι’ αυτόν τον λόγο, στους τελευταίους αγώνες που έχει συμμετάσχει σε Ελλάδα και εξωτερικό, παίζει κυρίως με αγόρια.
Η Άννα Μαρία έχει δημιουργήσει τη δική της ακαδημία kick boxing και είναι και η ίδια προπονήτρια στο παιδικό τμήμα. Μάλιστα, οι μαθητές της δηλώνουν ότι τη θαυμάζουν και θέλουν να της μοιάσουν.
Επίσης, μιλάμε με τον Παναγιώτη Πετρίδη, τον προπονητή της Άννας Μαρίας, ο οποίος αναφέρει ότι είναι πολύ αφοσιωμένη σε αυτό που κάνει και δουλεύει με ρυθμούς που δεν δουλεύουν ακόμη και επαγγελματίες αθλητές σε πολύ μεγαλύτερες ηλικίες.
