as posted by the channelFor more than 10 years, the Caribbean island of Puerto Rico has been going through a severe economic crisis that has even caused the island's authorities to be forced to declare bankruptcy, the bankruptcy of the government of Puerto Rico. This is the biggest bankruptcy of a public administration in the history of the United States.
And if that weren’t enough, last September 2017, Hurricane Maria caused huge damages throughout Puerto Rico... damages valued at 100 billion dollars and from which the island has not yet recovered.
However, despite the seriousness of the situation, this isn’t Puerto Rico’s biggest problem. Its biggest problem is that despite being the richest Caribbean island, one that has an enviable climate and beautiful white sand beaches, Puerto Rico is experiencing an authentic exodus that seriously threatens the island’s future.
