as posted by the channelOctober 3rd, 1990 was the day when the Federal Republic of Germany (Western Germany) and the Democratic Republic of Germany (Eastern Germany) reunited into the Germany we know today. Despite the fall of the Berlin wall and the good news, not everything was so easy.
In fact, we can say that the reunification process is still unfinished. There are still big differences between East and West Germany, not only at the economic level but also political and cultural.
Nonetheless, German reunification is seen as one of the most successful national mergers in history. And it could be a model for a would-be Korean reunification. Of course, this is not a possibility short term wise, and maybe it will never happen. But one year ago, nobody would have expected that Kim Jong-Un would shake hands with his Southern counterpart, Moon Jae-In. So we are entering a scenario where everything is possible.
This said, can Germany be a model to be followed? What would happen if North Korea and South Korea would reunite again and become a single nation? In this video, we will answer all of those questions.
