If you work in IT, you have surely worked with Indian software engineers at some point. India is the world’s second largest software exporter. Companies like TCS or Infosys are among the largest IT service providers, surpassing their UScounterparts. In fact, India’s IT industry is so big that it could count as a country in its own right.
And, to some extent, it is. India is still a very poor country, with just 10% of its population having access to the internet. To most Indians, entering the lucrative software market is an impossible dream.
How is it possible that such an underdeveloped country has created such a successful, high-tech, industry? In this video we will answer this question.
