Alaska is one of the wealthiest states of the United States but it is suffering one of the worst crises of the whole country. For decades its economy was based on oil. In fact, many spoke of Alaska as the Norway of the US.
Nevertheless, low oil prices and domestic competition are trashing its economy: especially the State’s budget. Alaska is suffering from an existential threat that might lead to bankruptcy. Nevertheless… there is a temporary solution. What is it? We’ll let you know in this video.
