Ukraine has been at war with Russia since 2014. It is a very imbalanced war: the Russian army is several times larger and better armed than the Ukrainian one. In fact, in the early stages of the confrontation, Ukraine barely had enough troops to defend itself.
After decades of corruption and even arms theft, Ukraine's armed forces were in a state of real disaster. Now the situation has improved but the force is still much weaker. That explains why Ukraine wants to join NATO. The question is, can it? To what extent would NATO allow Ukraine to join? Would this trigger an all-out conflict with Russia? Is there another way to defend Ukraine? In this video we tell you about it.
