The Israeli company NSO Group developed Pegasus, a spy software to control cell phones that has caused a major scandal. The Pegasus Project was an investigation carried out by a consortium of journalists belonging to 17 media groups from different countries around the world.
The Pegasus Project has investigated the leak of a list of 50,000 phone numbers that were allegedly targeted by several governments to be spied on by this Israeli software. The results are hair-raising.
