as posted by the channelHere’s the fundamental contradiction in how Democrats are pitching Walz: on one hand, he’s supposedly a folksy, Midwestern unifier. On the other hand, he’s the guy who started the trend of calling 70+ million Americans “just weird.” Can’t have it both ways.
The dirty little secret in this race is that Trump is actually the moderate on policy, compared to the other side. The left used to excoriate the GOP for abortion, guns, and foreign wars. Trump opposes a federal abortion ban, opposes interventionist wars, etc. If this election comes down to policy, it’s here for our taking.
If Democrats lose this election in November, they’ll look back at today & have to do some soul-searching on why they went with a progressive radical like Walz instead of a moderate like Shapiro.
