He said this in an exclusive interview with the BBC in London, where the Ukrainian leader arrived to participate in a meeting of the European Political Community. As a reminder, Zelenskyy has been President of Ukraine since 2019. Although elections were supposed to be held this year, the Ukrainian Constitution excludes voting during martial law.
In the Russian republic of Buryatia, a bridge collapsed on a federal highway. The crossing collapsed over the Great Zansigan River near the border with Mongolia. Officials have already blamed the incident on the rains. Traffic on this section of the road is currently blocked. The Ministry of Transport of Buryatia issued a statement saying that traffic was stopped due to ‘partial washing away of the roadbed’. It has also been reported that a collapse occurred in the area of the bridge's transition slab.
