In parliament the day before, Revival called for a referendum to postpone the country's membership in the eurozone until at least 2043.
Despite the support of Revival, the Bulgarian Socialist Party, and the populist party There Are Such People, MPs from the pro-European groups GERB, Continuing Changes-Democratic Bulgaria, and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms rejected the proposal to undermine Bulgaria's full integration into the EU.
