Speaking alongside U.S. President Donald Trump, who is in the UK for a state visit, in Buckinghamshire, England, Starmer said: "We have to put extra pressure on Putin and it's only when the President has put pressure on Putin that he's actually shown any inclination to move. So we have to ramp that pressure up." Starmer added that the incursion of Russian drones in Polish airspace last week and a continued bombing campaign against Ukraine are "not the actions of someone who wants peace."
