40:26Now PlayingHighly paid, and internet-famous pastor, Mike Winger, has long recycled lies about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, but, we are used to that kind of thing. Evangelical internet pastors lie about us and our doctrine to make money ALL THE TIME. This latest quest however, is just sad, because it is really destruction in the name of construction and religous bigotry and gatekeeping in the name of education. Mike Winger has his Salem-style sights set upon the spotted and sordid sect of swashbucklers! Pirates? Yes, pirates. You gotta watch this. It's almost too crazy to believe, but some guys actually trained A.I. to make a gag-gift version of the Bible that reads like Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean, and Mike has found a way to call it evil, harmful, and everything else everybody hated about the intolerant Christian Right in the 80's. The pirate bible is good and is actually entertainingly getting people to read the bible in ways they may have never in the first place, but, that's not good enough for internet evangelism's purity tests and is literally getting called a "Trojan Horse " for Mormonism. You can't make this up.
