At. 8:30 a.m. Eastern, the Post’s Libby Casey will be joined by reporters Amber Phillips, Elise Viebeck and Rhonda Colvin. Fiona Hill, the former National Security Council Russia adviser, and David Holmes, counselor for political affairs at the U.S. embassy in Ukraine, will testify beginning at 9 a.m. Eastern. Democrats are trying to build a case that Trump sought to withhold military assistance and an Oval Office meeting until Ukraine announced investigations into former vice president Joe Biden and his son. So far, seven people have testified publicly.
William B. Taylor Jr., the acting ambassador to Ukraine, and George Kent, the deputy assistant secretary of state responsible for Ukraine, testified on Wednesday, Nov. 13.
Marie Yovanovitch, the former ambassador to Ukraine, testified on Friday, Nov. 15.
On Tuesday, Nov. 19, Congress heard from Lt. Col. Alexander S. Vindman, the top Ukraine expert for the National Security Council, Jennifer Williams, Vice President Pence’s special adviser on Europe and Russia, Kurt D. Volker, the former United States special envoy to Ukraine, and Timothy Morrison, a Europe and Russia expert for the National Security Council.
