as posted by the channelOn Sept. 12, Queen Elizabeth II's coffin will be carried in procession from Holyrood Palace, her official residence in Edinburgh, to St. Giles' Cathedral.
After Scotland has paid its respects, the queen’s coffin will be flown to London the next day. A procession is scheduled from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall where she will lie in state for several days. Her days-long journey will end at her final resting place in Windsor.
