"I'm not sure, is there a little something out there that I'm not allowed to run?" Trump said. "Let's assume I was allowed to run. I could have — This could be a constitutional movement."
The 22nd Amendment of the U.S. Constitution explicitly prohibits any president from seeking more than two terms, either in consecutive or nonconsecutive sequence. It states: “No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice.”
