New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani jokingly signed an executive order repealing bedtime for kids for the duration of the 2026 NBA Finals, whose games start at 8:30 p.m. EST.

"As Mayor, you’re forced to make many difficult decisions," Mamdani wrote on X with images of the fake order. "This was not one of them."

This is the first time the New York Knicks will play in the NBA Finals since 1999. Game 1 against the San Antonio Spurs will be on Wednesday, June 3.
