When firefighters in Oakland, California, saw a pigeon struggling to breathe near the site of a fire they had fought, the crew stopped to help.

“The crew reported the pigeon came up to them seeking help,” Oakland Firefighters Local 55 shared on social media. “E29’s crew administered the pigeon some oxygen and the bird shortly flew away after clearing out its lungs.”
