The Missed Connections Photo Booth asks participants to complete a survey about their values and beliefs before taking a photo. For $10, the booth searches through previous participants and prints their picture alongside the person deemed their most compatible match.
There’s no phone number, social media handle, or other contact information; participants receive only their match’s name and photo.
Organizers say they aren’t trying to replace dating apps. Instead, they hope the experiment can bring some spontaneity and potentially a “meet-cute” back to dating.
