#Anatoliy Isakov, a 59-year-old Jehovah's Witness, was found guilty of extremism due to his involvement in religious services. On August 8, 2024, Judge Sergey Lytkin of the Kurgan City Court imposed a fine of 500,000 rubles on him, which was later reduced to 400,000 considering the believer's time in custody.

The verdict is subject to appeal and has not yet entered into force. Additionally, Isakov was ordered to pay procedural costs amounting to 6,900 rubles. The prosecutor sought a six-and-a-half-year suspended sentence for Isakov.
