as posted by the channelGame of Thrones author George RR Martin has said that omitting scenes of rape and sexual violence (like the Jamie and Cersei Lannister scene of two weeks ago) from the epic A Song of Ice and Fire fantasy series "would have been fundamentally false and dishonest", as fans of the popular HBO show express mounting concerns about the graphic way certain scenes from Martin's novels have played out in the television adaptation.
