0:39Now PlayingOur mission in South Memphis is simple, but it aint easy - we're using local support to close down trap houses, get the willing addicts into detox, treatment, sober living, onward to employment and recovery, and we're helping the willing dope boys start legitimate businesses.
Then, we're renovating the trap houses to use to home locals who volunteer time to support our mission. No gentrification, we are putting addicts in recovery, trafficking survivors, reformed "bad guys", homeless vets, and other rock stars who are committed to a new way of life back in these homes so they can continue our mission to buy back the block.
We've seen families preserved, single moms AND single dads get their kids back, one woman put down 44 YEARS of daily heroin use, and more.
Miracles happening every single day - and monthly we are doing community events in South Memphis, the next one being Christmas in the Hood on 12/22.
