Rising student debt has raised questions about the value of a degree and alternative possibilities, while student activists have drawn attention after high-profile, controversial protests. What is college really like for everyday students, and how should educational policies change? We talked with several current undergraduates and the Manhattan Institute's Jared Meyer, an educational policy expert and author, about the current state of education and where it's headed. In the first part of this series, we talk about student reactions to Donald Trump's electoral victory and whether his Trump University scandal could influence the direction of education over the coming 4 to 8 years.
