Taken from a Facebook Live Q&A event. Here is my answer to the question I was asked that “Mark and John appear to be giving different times of crucifixion for Jesus, how is this not a contradiction?”

*point of correction:

- at 1:21 I mispeak and include John in the list of Synoptic Gospels. The Synoptics are only Matthew, Mark, and Luke.

- at 2:09 I misspeak and say 6 AM when I should have said 6 PM (I.e. sunset - think of the “evening and morning” statements in Genesis Ch. 1).
