Second, the recent Biden announcement to commence 24/7 gate operations at the port of Los Angeles, in addition to Long Beach. However, reporting and on the ground witnesses confirm this is not the case. Third, we have a new Maritime Administrator and they are coming at the job with a fresh perspective because Rear Admiral Ann Phillips the nominee does not seem to have any commercial shipping experience or background. Finally, we look at the evolving case of sexual harassment and assault on board US flagged ships and the announcement by the US Coast Guard that they don't have jurisdiction to prosecute these cases.
