On this episode, Sal Mercogliano - former merchant mariner and maritime historian at Campbell University - discusses the revised salvage plan for MV Ever Forward, aground off Baltimore, Maryland since March 13. The plan involves continued dredging, the use of anchored barges for winching the ship off the shoal, and removal of about 550 containers via to floating cranes. The expected attempt to free the ship is scheduled for mid-to late April.
