8:23Now PlayingIn this video I reflect on the horrific assassination of Charlie Kirk — and what it reveals about the state of our culture and politics.
Charlie wasn’t just a conservative commentator; he was a figurehead for young conservatives across America. His murder was shocking enough, but what truly struck me was the reaction. Many of his detractors celebrated his death with open glee. That moment exposed exactly what we’re up against.
I share my experience attending a vigil for Charlie in New York, the disturbing behaviour I witnessed there, and how this connects to a wider ideology that is not just anti-conservative, but anti-Western at its core. I also talk about my own debates and conversations with Charlie — and the humility and curiosity that many never got to see.
This assassination has revealed not only the hatred among some of our neighbours, but also the failures of our media class. The way this story has been spun shows, once again, that much of the press is acting as activists, not journalists.
