as posted by the channelCuong Tran was lifted from his seat and his leg was injured when he was pulled toward the gaping hole in front of him, because a door plug blew out inflight on Alaska Airlines Flight 1282 on Jan. 5, 2024. His seatbelt saved his life. His shoes and socks were sucked off his feet and out of the plane, along with his cell phone. Tran and six other passengers, all friends, are represented by Wisner Baum’s lead aviation attorney, Timothy Loranger. Loranger filed a lawsuit on the passengers’ behalf against several defendants, including Boeing. He explains why.
