25:01Now PlayingThe tire industry is among the few to have begun at a high in quality output, and to have actively continued its path.
It contributes a lot to Iran's auto industry. Iran's automotive industry is the country's third most active after oil and gas industry.
It accounts for accounting for 10% of Iran's GDP and 4% of the workforce. The tire industry has won enough attention for authorities to call for more investment in the sector.
The production of tires in Iran rose to around 20 percent during the first eleven months of the past Iranian calendar year (that's March 20, 2020- February 18, 2021), compared to the same period of time in the past year. That made for a total of some 250,000 tons of tires produced.
