1:15Now PlayingThere’s a difference between wanting something from someone and wanting to be close to them. Most of us approach du’a like a request form. We ask for the job, the marriage, the relief, the outcome. And when the outcome is delayed, we think the relationship is distant.
But think about the people you love most. Sometimes the gift isn’t what they give you. It’s the fact that you’re with them.
Allah says you ask and He is close. Then He says you ask and He answers. Nearness comes before response. Love comes before provision.
So ask for what you need. Just don’t forget that the greatest thing He can give you isn’t what’s in your hands. It’s where you stand.
