It is naive or dishonest to pretend that how we live in western nations is the historical norm. Human history and all of nature for that matter is one of imperialism, invasion, dominance, capture, slavery, survival of the fittest. America and Britain, while not perfect, have a better history than any other human civilizations that have ever existed, they have been strong holds for stability and peace that have allowed for human thriving and flourishing no matter your race, class, or sex, Right now, every single human being living in a western country has the right and opportunity to live the life they were made for unencumbered by an Earthly authority… This is not the norm, this is in fact the opposite of what the norm has been throughout human history...
