She shares the story of growing up in Glasgow with her adopted Ugandan brother, Frankie, during a time when transracial adoption was very rare. Sadly, Frankie died in a house fire at the age of 27 years, but his memory lives on through Michaela and her charity, which helps impoverished communities in Uganda.
