Normalcy never goes viral, but tragedy does. Social media magnifies rare horrors into perceived epidemics, convincing us the world is burning when in reality, most people are living better lives today than ever before. The uncomfortable truth is this: the negativity isn’t just the media’s fault, it’s ours. We click it, share it, and demand more of it. Until we admit that fear is entertainment and outrage is addictive, we’ll keep mistaking isolated chaos for everyday reality.
