Oftentimes, we set goals for ourselves without ever following through. It happens. But this week, we’re bringing some wisdom to the table from Akira Kurosawa himself to try to help YOU break the cycle.
We talk about the true meaning behind “It’s the journey, not the destination” and what it means to be truly driven by your love of working. Kevin gives us some “boner-killing” advice on how to get to the top of the mountain, which leads us to discuss the over-romanticization of reaching your goals.
We also dive into the non-linear path of goal-reaching, and the importance of resigning yourself to something useless. Speaking of uselessness, we talk about the uselessness that AI voiceovers would have in our videos, despite the accusations that we’ve been receiving as of late!
We wrap up the episode by discussing the fact that frankly, most people don’t know how anything works, and we ruffle some feathers by debunking the myth of work/life balance.
