Garrett McNamara on How He Surfed the 100 Ft Wave
Summary
Garret "G Mac" McNamara is one of the best big wave surfers of all time. He surfed one of the best waves ever at Jaws in 2003, put Nazare Portgual on the map as a surf spot and broke the world record for biggest wave ever surfed in 2013. All of this became the subject of an excellent HBO docuseries called 100 foot wave. An incredible surfer, he's an even better father, husband and a friend. He and his wife Nicole have created an incredible foundation to make the youth better stewards of the planet. Get involved and donate here! If you donate above 10K, Garrett will take you tow surfing, show you his amazing life in Hawaii and Nazare and give you the full "G Mac" experience:
