He believes that God orchestrated this miraculous event so the magi, who were astrologers, would recognize it and know what to do.</p> <p>Interestingly, Joseph reveals that Jesus was already two years old when the magi found him. We also understand that the star was a supernatural manifestation that directed them to Jesus. The wise men recognized the significance of the star because they were well-trained in astrology, having studied under the Prophet Daniel.
