How the holidays could impact eating disorders

<p>The Butterfly Foundation, the national charity dedicated to supporting Australians living with eating disorders, is expecting a surge in calls to its national helpline over the holiday period. The foundation says it has observed a consistent year-on-year increase in demand for eating disorder support services around Christmas and saw a 15% increase in calls during the 2022 holiday period compared to the year before.
