5:36Now PlayingA Denver music festival is coming to an end after 25 years. Underground Music Showcase (UMS) organizers announced that the music festival, held at the end of July along Denver's South Broadway, will be ending.
"After 25 unforgettable years, UMS as we’ve come to know it is taking the stage one final time," the festival said on its website. "We can’t predict the future— but we can promise this: The final UMS in its current form will be legendary."
"Take a deep breath — we got you. This isn’t a slow fade. It’s a blowout. UMS 2025 will be the kind of weekend people talk about for the next 25 years."
"This is it. UMS as we know it is taking the stage for the last time," the festival posted on Instagram. "Join us all month as we count down to the loudest last show as we know it."
“We’ve poured our love, sweat, and tears into this festival. Year after year, giving it everything we’ve got. The 25th Anniversary will be no different,” said Casey Berry, co-owner of UMS. “No regrets, no pity parties — just a celebration for the ages!”
The 2025 Underground Music Showcase will feature hundreds of bands and artists at several venues from Friday, July 25, through Sunday, July 27. Headliners this year include DeVotchKa, El Ten Eleven, Flyana Boss, Shermanology, All Them Witches, and La Luz.
