Michael played offensive line for the Denver Broncos for three years and was fortunate to be on the Super Bowl 50 championship team, blocking for Peyton Manning during one of the greatest seasons in NFL history.
Now as parents to a young son, Kendall and Michael have a unique perspective on sports and parenting. Despite both achieving incredible success through athletics, they're not going to force their son to play sports. They both realize the incredible opportunities that sports have brought them, but they also understand that sports are about so much more than winning and losing.
It's about the experiences, the people you meet, the places you go—the incredible opportunities that come through playing the game you love. So they'll see what their son ends up wanting to do. If it's within sport, mom and dad will support him. And if it's not? That's okay too. This is what happens when two world-class athletes become parents: they understand that the journey and joy matter more than the destination.
