The Douglas County Sheriff's Office said an evacuation order issued for an area south of Castlewood Canyon State Park due to a wildfire Tuesday afternoon has been lifted.

The Douglas County Office of Emergency Management said the fire started around 12:30 p.m. in the area of Dahlberg Road and Lake Gulch Road, about 10 miles south of Franktown. Franktown Fire said the fire burned about 1,081 acres and is fully contained.
