Tory MPs are insisting that Boris Johnson deal with the issue, but the issue was caused by exiting various EU treaties. In this case, leaving the Dublin Accord means that there is no EU distribution of refugees seeking asylum in the UK. We chose to be an independent country, and so we need to accept the responsibility that goes with it.
