as posted by the channelIn the last week we have discovered that Downing Street hosted a series of Christmas parties in 2020, during our second covid lockdown and when similar events were outlawed for ordinary members of the public. Boris Johnson attended several of these parties himself, we are told. But the government are refusing to even apologise, and insist that it's a waste of time for anyone to investigate. They are saying that the public are not interested in this story. Given that a lot of people had to suffer serious restrictions at the same time that the government were refusing to show solidarity, this assertion could not be further from the truth.
